We welcome big achievers, professors, research scholars to contribute their original works. Camp'26 aims to attract researchers who are actively engaged both in theoretical and practical aspects of Information Retrieval. The focus is on Information Retrieval, Knowledge Management and Computational Linguistics. Authors are invited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles in the following areas, but are not limited to the following topics:

Information Retrieval

  • IR theory, retrieval models, and ranking
  • Query analysis and web search
  • Scalable indexing, crawling, and search architecture (cloud, distributed, edge)
  • Green IR and energy-efficient search systems
  • Machine learning, deep learning, and neural IR
  • Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Recommendation systems (including interactive and conversational)
  • Open-domain question answering and conversational IR
  • Personalised and user-adaptive search
  • Evaluation methods, benchmarks, and user-centric IR studies
  • Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, Ethics, and Explainability (FATE) in IR
  • Multi-modal and cross-modal IR (e.g., text-to-image/video)
  • Cross-lingual and low-resource IR
  • Real-time, event-based, and social media IR
  • Domain-specific applications (e.g., legal, biomedical, education)
  • Interactive and human-in-the-loop IR
  • Privacy-preserving, robust, and federated IR systems
  • IR for digital humanities and cultural heritage

    Knowledge Management

    • Knowledge management process
    • Data/information extraction and integration
    • Knowledge intelligence
    • Knowledge and privacy
    • Knowledge management and synthesis
    • Mining and representing multimodal data
    • AI for knowledge management
    • Technologies for knowledge sharing
    • Content management and digital rights management
    • Social networks and the psychological dimension for KM
    • Explanation and knowledge provenance

    Computational Linguistics

    • Text representation, text analysis, text summarisation
    • Text categorisation
    • Text clustering
    • Collaborative filtering
    • Question answering
    • Lexical acquisition
    • Dialogue system
    • Machine translation
    • Language technology (semantic)
    • Information extraction
    • Intelligent spelling checking
    • Speech recognition
    • Cognitive models of human language acquisition and processing

    Data Science
